Sorrento, Italy

Sorrento feels like stepping straight into an Italian summer postcard—cliffs, lemon trees, and ocean views everywhere you turn. Staying at Santa Fortuna makes it even better: it’s peaceful, pretty, and close enough to wander into town for gelato or stroll down to the marina. The Marina Grande is perfect for long seafood lunches by the water, and the historic center is packed with cute shops and restaurants.

One of my favorite things I did was take a boat to Capri for the day. It’s very accessible from Sorrento, with lots of options depending on what you’re looking for. Back in town, make sure to hit A’Marenna for the best sandwiches you’ll ever have from the sweetest sisters who own the shop. Also, make sure to get a reservation at O’ Parrucchiano for an amazing dining experience engulfed in lemon trees.
