London offers a blend of history, culture, and modern city life that’s hard to match. Start with Borough Market, where you can sample everything from fresh produce to artisanal street food—it’s one of the best places to get a feel for London’s diverse culinary scene. The city is also incredible for shopping, whether you’re exploring the boutiques of Covent Garden and Soho or browsing the major stores along Regent Street and Oxford Street.
If you have time, take a day trip to the Cotswolds, a peaceful countryside region known for its stone cottages, quiet lanes, and picturesque villages. It’s a beautiful contrast to the city and a great way to experience a different side of England. Back in London, definitely grab a bite at Dishoom, which has a modern Bombay-inspired menu. I also thoroughly enjoyed The Palomar in Soho for its ambience.
